Scheduling Issues
The scheduling system at North Country Health Care seems to be a major concern for patients. One reviewer mentioned that it's a hassle to get an appointment with a primary care physician and that the system doesn't make sense. Another reviewer was told that they couldn't schedule an appointment on a specific date because they weren't scheduling that far out yet, and was told to call back later, which is not a sustainable way for patients to schedule appointments.
Positive Experiences with Providers
On the other hand, many reviewers have had positive experiences with their providers. One reviewer praised Dr. Madeline Wetterhahn, an OBGYN, for being thorough, listening to concerns, and putting in prescriptions quickly. Another reviewer liked that they were able to schedule an appointment quickly and were seen on time. A few reviewers also mentioned that the staff, including doctors and nurses, were friendly and informative.
Disrespectful and Unaccommodating Staff
Some reviewers had negative experiences with the staff. One reviewer was disappointed with the OBGYN department, specifically with the receptionists who were too busy talking to each other to check them in, leading to a missed appointment. Another reviewer had a poor experience with the pharmacy, which took a couple of hours to fill a prescription. A few reviewers also mentioned that the staff was unhelpful and unaccommodating, especially when it came to scheduling appointments and referrals.
Communication Breakdown

Another reviewer was told that they had missed an appointment when they had actually shown up, and this was due to a lack of communication.
