Issues with Permanently Bonded Retainer
Patients who have undergone orthodontic treatment and have permanently bonded retainer experience difficulties with the dentist, Dr. Peglow. One patient, Jake DubStruction Hodsdon, had a permanent retainer cemented in place but experienced recurring issues with the bonds breaking, which were not properly re-cemented by the dentist. Despite multiple visits, the dentist only performed patch jobs, leaving some teeth unbonded and others with worn-away bonds.
Conduct of Dr. Peglow
Concerns have been raised about the quality of care provided by Dr. Peglow. Jake DubStruction Hodsdon feels that the dentist's work was "careless" and resulted in the reversal of progress made during orthodontic treatment. The patient had to spend years in braces to correct their teeth, only to have them drift back to their original position due to the incomplete job.
