With fun games and prizes, she stealthily sneaks good oral hygiene into their daily habits. Dr. Nguyen is excited to share all your children's milestones with you, from their 1st dental visit, their first visit from the "tooth fairy" to their teenage years with braces and wisdom teeth.

- Be Positive: When talking to your child, avoid words such as "pain", "shot" "needle" or "hurt". Instead, tell your child that we will use special tools to keep their teeth healthy and beautiful.
- Listen & Read: Encourage your child to share worries about visiting the dentist or having a dental exam. There are many books and videos that will walk children through the dental visit, just make sure to read or watch the video first to make sure it is age-appropriate for your child.
First Dental Visit by 1 Year Old
Every family wants to keep their children healthy. With minimal sleep and a wiggly baby, parents sometimes find difficulty and are unsure how to properly cleanse their babies' mouths. Going in for a visit by their 1st birthday allows us to pinpoint weaknesses in their teeth. More importantly, it gives us an opportunity to prevent cavities and help them learn to have fun at their dental visits.
