She furthered her expertise in aesthetics and complex cases by completing a residency in advanced general dentistry at UCLA and a 2-year specialty training program in Pediatric Dentistry at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Yu is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Born in Shanghai, China and raised in Vancouver, Canada and Las Vegas, NV, Dr. Yu enjoys traveling, spending time with her cat Miaomi, and exploring new restaurants with her husband Daniel.
