Dr. Shirin Mashhoon, our lead dentist, holds a Master's degree in Biochemical Pharmacology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She has completed advanced training in Surgical Implant Dentistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Mashhoon is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Dental Association, Academy of Osseointegration, North Carolina Dental Society, and Durham-Orange County Dental Society. She is also involved in local and international service projects, including dental brigades to Central America.
