Meet Our Doctor: Dr. Andrew (Avi) Lermer
Dr. Andrew (Avi) Lermer, a native Long Islander, earned his DDS degree from SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 2011. He further honed his skills and knowledge through a General Practice Residency and a chief residency role at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset. Dr. Lermer pursued advanced training in surgical implant placement and prosthetics, receiving extensive hands-on instruction from leading dental professionals. His commitment to excellence in dentistry is evident in his dedication to continuing education, including specialized training at the Dawson Academy.
Dr. Lermer is deeply involved in community service, participating in Give Kids a Smile Day and volunteering with the United States Public Health Service's Indian Health Service division. He is also a longstanding volunteer Emergency Medical Technician, serving in New York City and Nassau County for over 15 years. Dr. Lermer maintains active memberships in professional organizations such as the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Nassau County Dental Society.
