Our Transformation

Panther Pediatric Dentistry is transitioning into a referral-based practice for children ages 3 to 12 years old who require comprehensive dental care to be completed under general anesthesia. As Euclid's Leading Sedation Location, we are committed to helping address the limited access to dental care concerns for children in Northeast Ohio and beyond. Children can be referred to us by a dentist, a medical professional, or even a parent to be evaluated for our in-office sedation dentistry services.

Establishing a Dental Home

While Panther Pediatric Dentistry is transitioning into a referral-based practice focused on sedation dentistry, it is important for children and their families to establish and maintain a dental home. A pediatric dental home will provide comprehensive, ongoing, diagnostic, preventive, and restorative services to infants, toddlers, and school-aged children. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends establishing a dental home by your child's first birthday. A family dentist or a general dentist is able to provide diagnostic, preventive, and restorative services to members of the entire family. If a child has dental needs that would require them to be asleep to complete safely, they may be referred to a place like Panther Pediatric Dentistry - Euclid's Leading Sedation Location for comprehensive care. Once treatment has been completed, patients will be encouraged to return to their dental home for regular checkups and routine cleanings.

Dr. Kari A. Cunningham is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist from Euclid. She returned home to provide quality care to children in the community. Dr. Kari has a passion for community service and dental education. She is excited to practice in her hometown and is enthusiastic about pediatric dentistry. She enjoys owning a practice where patients and parents feel comfortable, appreciated, and respected. She likes to have fun, sing with patients, and find creative ways to teach children and their families the steps necessary to help them achieve optimal oral and overall health.
