Our Dentists

Our practice is led by Dr. Roberto V. Espejo, Jr., who has been practicing dentistry since 1979. He is a graduate of the National University in the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Medicine. Dr. Espejo is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Santa Clara Dental Society, and National American Filipino Dental Association. He is proud of his three children and his wife, a registered nurse.

Dr. Jennifer A. Espejo, a graduate of the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California, joined the practice in 2008. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Santa Clara Dental Society. Dr. Jennifer Espejo is highly trained and knowledgeable in modern-day dental techniques and continually updates her education as dentistry advances. She strongly believes in high-quality dentistry that should be delivered with a genuine concern for each person's well-being.

Dr. Joshua Espejo, also a graduate of the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, joined the practice in 2015. He currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he is continuing to further his skills and business knowledge working for a rapidly growing dental company. Dr. Josh's hobbies include weightlifting, auto racing (drifting), and real estate investing. Dr. Josh will be rejoining the Parktown family in the soon future.

Dr. Vincent Mojica received his Associate in Arts and Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Centro Escolar University in Manila, Philippines. After that, he joined the U.S. Air Force, underwent training, and worked in the hygiene department. He received his California Dental License in 1999 and became an associate of Parktown Dental. He believes in giving the best Dentistry with care and efficiency.

Dr. Ferdinand Ramirez has been practicing General Dentistry in the Bay Area for the past 36 years. He is a member of the American, California, and the Southern Alameda Dental Associations respectively. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, traveling, cooking, reading and gardening. He is married to Geraldine, who is a Bay Area Realtor and has two wonderful kids, Jonathan & Annette who are also professionals in their own right.

Our Services

At Parktown Dental Care and Star Dental, we offer a wide range of dental services to meet the needs of our patients. These services include:

• Complete Oral Examination: During this exam, we address any concerns or questions our patients may have. We conduct a visual and radiographic inspection of the mouth to determine each patient's overall oral health. We are proud to provide our patients with digital x-rays, which emit less radiation than traditional x-rays.
• Routine Cleaning: Routine cleaning is done using an ultrasonic device to remove surface plaque and calculus around and between teeth. Calculus is plaque that has hardened over time. An overall polish follows this with a dental paste that leaves the mouth feeling refreshed!
• Deep Cleaning: Deep cleaning is recommended when there is plaque or calculus underneath the gums. It is a non-surgical procedure that involves the use of local anesthesia to numb the area before scaling and root planing are performed.
• Post and Core Build-Up: This procedure is done when there is a broken or decayed tooth that needs to be rebuilt before a crown is placed.
• Crown Restorations: Crowns are used to restore the function and appearance of teeth that have been damaged by decay, trauma, or wear.
• Partial & Full Dentures: Dentures are removable appliances that replace missing teeth and surrounding tissues. They are made to closely resemble your natural teeth and may even enhance your smile.
• Extractions: Extractions are performed when a tooth is beyond repair or when a patient needs to have their wisdom teeth removed.
• Bridge Restorations: Bridges are used to replace one or more missing teeth. They are anchored to the natural teeth on either side of the gap and are made to match the natural teeth in color, shape, and function.
• General Pediatric Dentistry: We provide dental care for children of all ages, including exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
• Cosmetic Dentistry: We offer a variety of cosmetic dentistry services, including bonding and whitening of the teeth, to help our patients achieve their dream smiles.

Our Locations

We have three convenient locations to serve our patients in San Jose, Mountain View, and Stockton. Our San Jose office was opened in 1991, our Mountain View office opened in 1996, and our Stockton office opened to serve the central valley.
