Our History

Berkeley Orthodontics was established in 1968 by Dr. Gerald Nelson in a small office across the street from Alta Bates Hospital in South Berkeley. Over the years, our patient family has grown, and we have expanded to three convenient locations in South Berkeley, North Berkeley, and Orinda. Our guiding commitment to excellence in treatment planning and execution has been enhanced by the additions of Drs. Michael Meyer, Paul Kasrovi, Nancy Ung, and Min-jeong Kim. Together, we have treated more of Berkeley's population than any other orthodontic practice in the area.
