Get to Know Dr. Girgis

Dr. Mina Girgis was born in Athens, Greece, and moved to Lakewood, California, when he was young. He grew up spending time with his family here in Bellflower, where he is still active in the community today. While studying General Biology at UC San Diego, Dr. Girgis volunteered at the free student-run dental health clinic as an assistant, and fell in love with dentistry. Inspired by the rewarding work of changing people's lives one smile at a time, Dr. Girgis pursued his dental degree at Marquette University in Milwaukee. After finishing his DDS, he completed a general practice residency at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he gained specialized knowledge in the aesthetic and surgical aspects of dentistry.
