As a 3rd generation dentist, Dr. Thompson has a deep understanding of the importance of trust and community. He has been serving the Gordonsville and Palmyra areas for nearly 50 years, with his father, Dr. Jack, starting the practice in 1971. Dr. Thompson's education includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The College of William and Mary and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Medical College of Virginia, where he graduated Magma Cum Laude. He also served in the U.S. Army, including a year in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program, before returning to private practice.
