Welcome to Fowler Dental Clinic, a non-profit dental practice dedicated to serving the oral health needs of residents in Green and Lafayette Counties, Wisconsin. Our mission is to provide dental care to those in need, with a particular focus on the uninsured and those with limited access to oral health services. We are committed to creating a quality, comprehensive community-based dental home that reduces barriers to care, thereby improving the health of our friends and neighbors.

Our practice is deeply rooted in the legacy of Dr. Donald Fowler, a devoted family man, active community supporter, and dedicated practitioner who served clients in Rock and Green Counties for 30 years. The Fowler family's generosity helped make this clinic a reality, carrying on Dr. Fowler's philosophy and making dental care more accessible in Green County.

Fowler Dental Clinic initially opened in 2009 as a pediatric dental clinic, providing much-needed dental care to low-income area children. Over the years, we have expanded our services and client base, always maintaining our commitment to improving oral health in our community. We are proud to have collaborated with various local organizations, including the Green County Health Department, Green County school nurses, WIC, Head Start, and Early Head Start programs.

Our Services

At Fowler Dental Clinic, we offer a range of dental services for both children and adults. Our services include:

1. Exams and Dental Cleaning: Regular dental examinations and cleanings are essential for maintaining good oral health. During these appointments, our dentists will thoroughly examine your teeth and gums, looking for signs of decay, gum disease, and other oral health issues. We will also clean your teeth, removing any plaque or tartar buildup that may have occurred since your last appointment.

2. X-Rays: Dental X-rays help our dentists diagnose potential issues that may not be visible during a regular examination. They allow us to identify decay between teeth, check the health of tooth roots, assess damage from trauma, and monitor the development of wisdom teeth.

3. Fillings: When tooth decay is detected, it is crucial to remove the decayed portion and fill the tooth to prevent further damage. We use tooth-colored fillings to ensure a natural, aesthetically pleasing result.

4. Preventative Care: We believe in a proactive approach to dental care. Our preventative services include fluoride treatments, sealants, and oral health education. We will work closely with you to develop a personalized oral hygiene routine that helps you maintain a healthy smile.

5. Extractions (limited): In some cases, a tooth may be severely damaged or decayed, requiring extraction. We offer limited extractions to alleviate pain and prevent further complications.

6. Home Care Education: Proper home care plays a crucial role in maintaining good oral health. We will provide you with essential home care instructions, including brushing, flossing, and using mouthwash.
