Dr. Shortell has been practicing dentistry in Mission, Kansas since 1984. He is a graduate of the UMKC Dental School and Pittsburgh State University. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Fifth District Dental Society, America Academy of Laser Dentistry, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. His mission statement is simple: to treat others as he would like to be treated.

Our caring team, led by Dr. Shortell, includes Jennifer, a registered dental hygienist with an Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees from Wichita State University and a Master's of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene Education from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Dentistry. She is certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, local anesthesia, nitrous oxide sedation, and laser therapy. She has been with Dr. Shortell for several years and many of our patients ask for her by name.
