We have been providing dental care since Dr. Diane Talentowski graduated from Loyola University Chicago with honors in 1987. Our foundation includes eight years of intensive care nursing experience, which sharpened our patient assessment and emergency response skills. We began delivering comprehensive oral health services after completing a General Practice Residency in Hospital Dentistry at Loyola in 1988. We held a full-time faculty position at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center from 1989 to 1993, where we directed the General Practice Residency Program while maintaining a private practice. We joined the faculty at the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago in 1993 as an Associate Professor. We continued our private practice there, served as Medical Director of the Oral Health Center, and directed the General Practice Residency Program.
We maintain an ongoing parttime relationship with the medical center, ensuring our clinical knowledge stays current. Our professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, American Academy of Radiology, and American Academy of Oral Medicine. We were inducted as a Fellow into the International College of Dentists in 1996. We believe oral health is integral to overall health and strive to keep every patient healthy through personalized treatment plans.
