Our Services
At Progressive Periodontics & Implant Dentistry, we offer a wide range of services to meet the unique needs of our patients. Our services include:
- Dental Implants: Dental implants are an excellent solution for missing teeth because they closely replicate your natural teeth, maintain your bite, and provide you with the confidence to smile again. Dr. Gordon has placed thousands of implants and is one of the premier implant surgeons in the area. Our dental implant services include immediate implant tooth replacement, fully implant-supported teeth, and repair of problematic implants placed at other offices.
- Periodontics: As a periodontist, Dr. Gordon is an expert in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of gum disease. Our periodontal services include tooth-saving services involving regrowth of lost tooth support utilizing stem-cell-like materials, as well as esthetic treatment options to address gummy smiles and uneven gums. Dr. Gordon is certified in the Chao "Pin-Hole" technique for gum recession.
- Sedation Dentistry: Dental anxiety is often heightened when patients don't know what to expect. At Progressive Periodontics & Implant Dentistry, we offer patients nitrous oxide ("laughing gas") and oral sedative agents to ease anxiety. An anesthesiologist is also available for longer procedures.
- Restorative & Cosmetic Dentistry: Gums, like teeth, often benefit from cosmetic treatments to address esthetic concerns. These may include asymmetry in the gums, gum recession, and "gummy smiles". The gums frame the teeth. Without proper shape and form, new crowns or veneers can just look bad no matter how gifted your restorative specialist is. Many times, excess gums can remain after orthodontic therapy resulting in outwardly very small, unaesthetic teeth. These issues can be resolved to produce truly outstanding, great looking teeth.
