Connolly Dental Clinic has been a cornerstone of the Carlton County community since 1975. Dr. Connolly's commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate dental care has been the driving force behind the clinic's success for over four decades. From its humble beginnings in Carlton to its current location in Cloquet, Connolly Dental Clinic has consistently focused on serving the unique needs of each patient.

Dr. Connolly's journey began in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he developed a passion for learning and a dedication to service. He honed his skills as a scholar at St. Thomas Academy and earned a degree from the University of St. Thomas. Driven by a desire to expand his horizons, he embarked on a year of teaching at a convent school in Ireland, immersing himself in a new culture and forging lifelong friendships. Returning to the United States, he pursued his passion for dentistry at Emory University School of Dentistry in Atlanta, Georgia.

After completing his dental education, Dr. Connolly sought a place that resonated with his love of the outdoors, drawn to Carlton County's scenic beauty and abundant opportunities for fly-fishing. He began his practice in Carlton, working alongside the esteemed Dr. Maurice Haubner, and eventually established his own clinic in Cloquet, offering a wide range of dental services to the community.

Dr. Connolly's dedication extends beyond his practice. He has been an active member of various organizations, including the Carlton Area Lion's Club and the Cloquet Noon Kiwanis Club, where he served as president for several years. He has actively contributed to the health and well-being of Carlton County through his involvement with the County Health and Advisory Board. Passionate about fly-fishing, he co-founded the Arrowhead Fly-Fishers' Club, fostering a community of anglers and conservationists dedicated to preserving the region's natural resources.
