At Birch Point Dental, we are dedicated to providing patient-centered dental care that is marked by our attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Since its establishment in 2010, our clinic has been under the leadership of Dr. Mitch Kane, who earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University in 1997. With years of experience practicing general dentistry at his family's clinic, Dr. Kane moved to Hayward in 2004 and has been working in the local area ever since. He became the owner of Birch Point Dental in February of 2019.

Our team at Birch Point Dental comprises experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering top-notch dental services to our patients. We believe in creating a warm, non-clinical atmosphere that makes our patients feel comfortable and at ease. Our in-house dental lab ensures that we can save you time and money when it comes to enhancing your smile.

Meet Our Team

Our team is led by Dr. Mitch Kane, who has been practicing general dentistry for over two decades. Dr. Kane is supported by a team of skilled professionals, including Erin, our Front Desk Coordinator, who has been with us since June 2020. Erin studied at Chippewa Valley Technical College and Duluth Business University.

Carie, our Registered Dental Hygienist, joined us in 2018. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Minnesota State University - Mankato in 2004 and her Dental Hygiene degree from Lake Superior College in 2006. Carie is licensed to administer local anesthesia and enjoys the fun work environment and family feeling at our office.

Sarah, another Registered Dental Hygienist, became a part of Birch Point Dental in 2015. She earned her associate degree at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and is also licensed to administer local anesthesia. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys walking her dogs, racing snowmobiles, painting, and remodeling.

Ashley, our Dental Assistant & Front Desk Coordinator, joined our office in October 2018. She brings her customer service skills, happy disposition, and positive attitude to work every day for her fellow team members and patients.

Jennifer E., our Dental Assistant, joined us in March 2022. She prides herself on her work and will make you feel comfortable with her upbeat, friendly demeanor.
