Meet Dr. Christopher A. O'Rourke

Dr. O'Rourke, a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, graduated from Bearden High School in Knoxville. He went on to attend the University of Tennessee, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology. During his time at UT, Dr. O'Rourke worked under the mentorship of Dr. Steve Ollard and Dr. Mickey Crowell at their orthodontic practice in Bearden.

Dr. O'Rourke then pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences College of Dentistry in Memphis. After completing dental school, he attended St. Louis University, where he earned his Master of Science in Dentistry degree. For over three decades, Dr. O'Rourke has been providing the highest quality orthodontic treatment in Farragut, serving patients from Bearden, Hardin Valley, Karns, Oak Ridge, Loudon County, Lenoir City, and Loudon.

Dr. O'Rourke is a member of the Second District Dental Society, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, and the Tennessee Association of Orthodontists. Dr. O'Rourke has been married to his wife, Sallye, for 26 years and has three children. He spends his free time with his family on Norris Lake and at UT football games. Dr. O'Rourke is an avid long-distance runner, having completed 34 marathons, including 17 Boston Marathons, which he trains for annually. On Wednesday nights, Dr. O'Rourke can be found "UNDER THE BRIDGE" with the Lost Sheep Ministry, providing routine dental care for the homeless of Knoxville.
