Dentists learn to administer parenteral sedation under expert supervision, meeting regulatory requirements in all 50 states. The curriculum covers airway management, emergency protocols, and pharmacology with a 1-to-1 faculty-to-student ratio. Participants gain skills to treat anxious patients and medically complex cases while earning CE credits toward AGD Fellowship.
Adult Oral Sedation
This 25-CE course teaches safe administration of oral conscious sedation for anxious patients. Through live-streamed and in-person formats, dentists learn pharmacology, patient assessment, and emergency management. The program includes airway simulation training and case-based instruction to implement sedation protocols immediately. Participants receive a 314-page manual and access to clinical support resources for practice integration.
ACLS Recertification
Our AHA-compliant ACLS Recertification course prepares dental teams for medical emergencies with 7.5 CE hours of advanced cardiac life support training. The one-day program covers ECG interpretation, pharmacologic interventions, and team-based resuscitation protocols using high-fidelity simulators. Dentists learn to manage cardiac arrest, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes while maintaining BLS and ACLS provider credentials through hands-on practice sessions.
Dental Team Training
Team-focused courses prepare dental assistants and hygienists to support sedation procedures with 15-40 CE hours of specialized instruction. Training includes patient monitoring, emergency response, and practice management strategies. Team members participate in hands-on simulations and learn to implement sedation protocols, enhancing office efficiency and patient safety through coordinated care approaches that meet state regulatory requirements.
Medical Emergency Training
This specialized program trains dental professionals to manage 12 common medical emergencies using scenario-based learning. Participants practice airway management, anaphylaxis response, and diabetic emergency protocols with simulation technology.
