Meet Our Dentists

Our team of experienced and skilled dentists includes Dr. Darren Dotson and Dr. Amy Hartzell, who are dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to people of all ages. Dr. Dotson is originally from the Iowa Great Lakes Area and has practiced in Spirit Lake since 2003. He attended Buena Vista University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and went on to attend the University of Iowa College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Dotson is a member of the Iowa Dental Association as well as the American Dental Association, and he prides himself in patient education, offering treatment options to suit the needs and the desires of his patients.

Dr. Hartzell was born and raised in Spencer, Iowa, and completed her undergraduate education at the University of Northern Iowa and the University of Iowa. She graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2006. Dr. Hartzell is committed to providing high-quality dental care and ensuring that every patient feels comfortable and confident in their dental care.
