Meet Dr. Archana
Dr. Archana is a board-certified pediatric dentist, certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, and completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Rutgers University, Newark, NJ. She is passionate about working with children and has participated in various community outreach programs both nationally and internationally.
Preventive Dental Cleanings
We use various methods of cleaning to fit the individual child's needs, removing plaque, tartar, and stains, and demonstrating appropriate brushing and flossing techniques. We believe that preventive care is crucial in maintaining your child's oral health and preventing future dental issues.
Fluoride and Sealants
Appropriate fluoride levels, along with good oral hygiene and a healthy diet, contribute to the reduction of tooth decay. We also provide sealants, a protective coating applied to the chewing surfaces of back teeth, to prevent decay and protect your child's teeth.
Space Maintenance
Baby teeth help save space for permanent teeth and contribute to the normal development of jaws, bones, and muscles. Some of the baby teeth are not replaced until 12-14 years of age. We provide space maintainers to ensure proper teeth alignment and prevent future orthodontic problems.
Additional Services
We offer a wide range of services, including, but not limited to, dental fillings, tooth-colored fillings, indirect pulp treatment, pulp therapy, pulpotomy, crowns, behavior guidance and modification, nitrous oxide/laughing gas - oxygen inhalation, oral sedation, general anesthesia, silver diamine fluoride (SDF), and mouth guards.
