He took over Advance Orthodontics in 2009 and stays active in education, research, and professional organizations. I was a complex adult ortho patient that involved multiple phases, other doctors, and jaw surgery. Dr Karotkin quarterbacked the whole process for me. He was meticulous and thorough throughout the whole experience. To get me the best smile possible my treatment was extended 6 months longer than he budgeted and he didnt mention charging me extra. Highly recommend Advanced Orthodontics and Dr Karotkin.

I love Dr. Karotkin and his team. My appointments are always smooth and my orthodontist assistant, Ana, is the best. She is gentle when trying to change all my wires without making my teeth hurt more than they need to from all the maneuvers they have to do to change the wires at every visit. Ana is super friendly and loves to connect with her patients.

I have been working with Dr K and his team for over a year now, and I have received nothing but excellent service from everyone. As part of a comprehensive treatment plan Dr K is constantly in touch with my other doctors to ensure that treatments are coordinated. Had an amazing experience in my Invisalign journey with the support of Dr. Karotkin and his outstanding team. It was my second time getting braces, but he made this such a smooth process for me. I finally got my braces off today after over 5 years of treatment! Dr. Karotkin and everyone else who has treated me have been relentlessly kind and patient, and have been very receptive to my opinions. They never fail to make me feel at ease. My son just had his braces removed. Dr K and his team did a wonderful job over the last two years. His smile is perfect and he is ecstatic with the results.
The team always had convenient appointments, even short notice ones and made adjustments effortlessly. We drove in from 30-45 minutes away, but it was well worth the drive. We highly recommend Advance Orthodontics.

Dr. Karotkin is the absolute best! I came here in highschool for braces, and he was just taking over the practice when I was getting them removed. I just finished doing invisalign treatment and am so happy with my results. Dr. Karotkin and staff were so helpful during the entire process and Dr. Karotkin always took the time to answer my questions. Hes such an awesome Dr and I would highly recommend to any friends and family!

Dr. Karotkin is an amazing orthodontist. He helped me with my TMJ and double jaw surgery. He worked collectively with my surgeon and myofunctional therapist which made the entire process so much easier and less stressful. He was always available to answer questions or concerns between appointments. I highly recommend using him.

My experience with Dr Karotkin and the whole Advanced Orthodontics team has been amazing! Advanced Orthodontics was highly recommended by my airways dentist and my end results have exceeded my expectations. I received excellent orthodontic guidance, care, and treatment as I proceeded with palatal expansion with an expander for improved airways, and braces. I notice improvements with my sleep from airway expansion and improved energy levels. My bite has been corrected and teeth straightened. The practice is very professional and Dr Karotkin is a top expert with orthodontics while having great bedside manner and care with both adult and pediatric patients. Each employee is warm and highly skilled with their work. I highly recommend Advanced Orthodontics for improved airways, next level orthodontics, and enhanced smile!!!

I consulted with a dozen orthodontists in Houston and NYC over the last two decades, and I finally felt comfortable with Dr. Karotkin and his team. They listened to my concerns and goals, mocked up my potential progression, gave me lots of options, gave me the hard facts about what was and wasn't possible, and even asked my wife to attend consultation.
Two and a half years later, my braces are off today and I am blown away by the results! I haven't had jaw pain in 18 months (my primary goal), but I am super impressed at what Dr. K was able to accomplish after decades of neglect haha. I have to remember not to hide my smile anymore!
On top of the amazing results and partnership in health, my visits were always easy to schedule and started on-time, featuring a busy but friendly team, with an amazing soundtrack.
10/10 recommend! Especially if you're on the fence as a non-teenager.. I've seen lots of adult patients come through. You owe it to yourself!
