Our Doctor

Dr. George S. Mayweather, DDS, is the son of George Mayweather, a retired Aircraft Mechanic who served for 24 years in the United States Air Force. The Mayweather family settled in Rancho Cordova in 1974. Dr. Mayweather is a middle child who graduated from Cordova Sr. High School in 1979, Home of the Mighty Lancers - Go Big Red! As a Lancer, Dr. Mayweather played football for the Lancers his senior year as wide receiver, #88. He also ran track-n-field in his sophomore, junior, and senior years as a hurdler and a 4x400 relay sprinter.

Dr. Mayweather matriculated to the University of California, Davis, and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology in 1984. He then matriculated to Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1989. After taking 3 weeks off, he began his postgraduate Orthodontic Residency in June of 1989 and obtained his Proficiency Certificate in orthodontics in May of 1991.

Our team consists of professional clinical and front office assistants. Our present orthodontic team has been together for more than 3 years. Any questions or concerns about your orthodontic care can be answered by one and all. When you come into our office, we will greet you with a friendly and warm smile and a caring attitude.

Early Treatment
